Rapper Eminem Remarries Childhood Sweetheart2006-02-25Megastar rapper Eminem and his ex-wife remarried on Saturday, five years after an ugly divorce ended their turbulent relationship. Eminem, 33, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, and his high school sweetheart Kimberly Mathers exchanged vows in a small ceremony at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, outside Detroit. Fans and reporters gathered at the entrance to the grounds around the hall, a popular wedding site on the Oakland University campus, as guests began arriving in the afternoon. Family and close friends who were in attendance, including 50 Cent, members of D12, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit, were served lobster tail and filet mignon, Dennehy said. New York DJ Lord Sear spun tunes at the reception. Before the ceremony, details of the wedding were kept private. Guests and workers were asked to sign confidentiality agreements to keep them from giving information to the media. The Mathers first married in 1999 and their divorce, and custody battle over their 10-year-old daughter, was finalized in 2001. They reconciled in late 2004, and Eminem announced last December that they would get back together.
