Matt Damon Wed in Private Ceremony2005-12-12It appears Matt Damon is a married man after tying the knot in a secret wedding ceremony in New York City. The Actor, star of Bourne Identity said 'I do' to his girlfriend, former barmaid Luciana Barroso. Matt met Luciana two years ago when she was working behind the bar of a Miami nightspot and rumor has it the reason the couple married so quickly was due to the fact she is pregnant. Matt's publicist completely denies the claims that there is a Matt junior on the way, but she has confirmed that the couple did marry at New York City Hall on Friday morning. Matt said: "I have longed for kids in real life. I just have to learn how to be a disciplinarian. Now I'm good at winding kids up, but I'm not so good at chilling them out." It was the first marriage for Damon, the second for Bozan. They will split their time between homes in New York and Florida. The actor, who was in New York shooting the Robert De Niro-directed 'The Good Shepherd' with Angelina Jolie, will be seen on Irish cinema screens in the New Year in the political thriller 'Syriana'. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was one of the few guests to attend Damon’s quickie wedding to Barroso in the Big Apple on Friday. The mayor watched the star, 35, and Miami waitress Barroso, 30, tie the knot during a brief ceremony at New York City Hall. Bloomberg tells the New York Post, "All of us are thrilled that they chose New York to have their marriage." The politician also got the chance to kiss the bride after the ceremony, but adds, "not on the lips."
